유토피아적 추출

25년 전 사라진 해창 석산, 10년 동안 점점 산이 되어 간 모래둑골 등, 여러 곳의 '일반자연'의 현장을 배회하고 기록하였다. 지층의 시간을 품고 있던 이곳들은 근대적 추출과 생태적 추출의 시대를 지나며, 이 시대의 욕망을, 인간의 신화를 드러내는 장소들이 되었다. 이곳에서 인간의 서사를 아이러니하게 되짚는 행위를 하고, 애초 그곳에 존재할 수 없었을, 깨어진 외곽을 가진 돌들을 옮겨온다. 그 돌들은 일종의 미디어로 지층의 시간과 인간의 시간을 동시에 저장하고 있다.

Unmake Lab have been visiting and recording various 'Generic Nature' sites such as the disappeared Haechang stone mountain 25 years ago and the sand dune that has been gradually gaining shape of mountain for 10 years. These places that embraced the time of the planet became places that revealed the human-centeric narrative (the narrative of Sisyphus) through the times of modern extraction and ecological extraction. Here, they perform a ironical performance that unfolds this narrative. And they bring stones with broken edges, which could not originally exist there. These stones are a kind of media, simultaneously storing the time of the strata and the time of humans.
